As I gaze into the crystal ball for Tom Herman's future.....

Tomorrow will be Wednesday in the Herman household.

He wasn’t about to cry. That’s just what a person looks like after they give themselves a concussion from head butting a player wearing a helmet.

No established coach is going to want to deal with the boosters, and all the other crap at Texas. It's the reason they have settled on Charlie Strong, Tom Herman, etc after they kicked Mack Brown out the door

It's called a cesspool for a reason, and the problem is NOT with the football program itself

I remember AU posters say the same thing about Bama this time about 13 years ago.

Predict Tom Herman’s future

In the offseason he gets caught with a dead stripper in his trunk.

Blames it on Urban Meyer.

immensely popular with the boosters and fans.
this isn’t true at all

Unless something major occurs, he’s going to get 2020 but after this year he’s going to have to make a serious CFP push or he’s out.

To be fair, Herman was the “hottest” name in CFB when they hired him. Just turned out, thus far, to be a bust.

He may still be able to right the ship, but it starts against Texas Tech. IMO, If they lose to Texas Tech, it’s over. They may very well give him 2020, but the negativity around the program after this season will be toxic to the program and recruiting and will make it very very difficult IMO to have a successful 2020 season, which will absolutely be his last at Texas unless he goes 9-3 or better.

Herman fired, the coaches I think texas will look at: Urban, BrianKelly, PJ Fleck, Matt Rhule, Matt Campbell, James Franklin, Gus Malzahn.

USC needs to get off it’s arse and snag Urban

I get the UT athletics director weekly newsletter emailed to me (no big deal, there's a bunch of Longhorn Foundation members).

After Iowa State, Texas AD Del Conte acknowledged that there were a lot of calls to his office after the loss, and "we hear you."

This week's newsletter was nothing but a picture of him in a sling, saying he had some kind of surgery and was under "doctor's orders" to not do his weekly update.

What a load of horseshite. As though he actually types those things. It was a total dodge. The furor after the Baylor loss must've been tremendous.

Best head coach in the Big 12 right now is at Kansas State. That's who I'd go after. Forget flash in the pan hit names and hire a winner.
