Bob Marlin called Jones the week after the August flood and asked if he wanted to play a Exhibition game in BR and all the money would go towards the recovery. Lsu turned it down

Also, this is factual. I thought this was widely known

So they don’t have to worry about Mississippi State stealing him anymore?

And the Cajuns continue their impressive streak of never having a coach leave their program for a better job.

As far as input, I think Kendal Briles would be a hell of a coach if you are willing to take the baggage.

He'd be the prototype Tech hire. Son of a coach. Wide open offense.

Let's do it

Expect #Houston OC/QB coach Brian Johnson to be a factor in the #ULL head coaching search. Is a rising star in the business.

I’ll bet Viator considers this a lateral move.

Rebowe is probably more likely.

Houston fans don’t like him at all based on the Twitter replies.

I think the Cajuns will have a more interesting set of candidates than that list.

Seems like it's all over the board right now. Probably get a better idea in the next couple of weeks

I'd be pissed if we got stuck with Viator, but that post is idiotic. Viator is making $350k at ULM. ULM is barely holding on to FBS status as well.

I'd be shocked if the process took that long. Probably get wrapped up this week.

I just hope they don't rush it. I'm excited about this process

Sounds like this decision was made after the Ga. Southern game so they've probably been searching around for a while now.

I'm really interested in why Canada would have any interest in the job.

Or could it be just rumors

Viator won't be in Monroe long but I'd have to think he is looking for his next step to be a bit bigger than that. I would guess his next step up would be an AAC or Mountain West conference school.
