I think it's been Herman all along. The Jimbo "done deal" talk began after too many Herman stories began to affect his current teams' morale.

I really don't what to think but what I do know is that we fired Miles early in season to not frick this up this time around. I think we made serious contact with Herman or his agent at that moment because he was our #1 guy. I would think the same can be said for Jimbo but something just tells me we really went all in on Herman and having Aranda here can't hurt at all!
The fact that nothing has really been leaked out yet other than pour speculation by the media means that the closed doors meeting have been just that closed door!
I do think that Coach O has been kept in the loop this whole time and he fully understands what is going on here. There will be no blindside on him.

Chicken this poll is stupid.
Its not like any of us know who will be coach. A more interesting poll would be who we WANT as head coach.
Our dumbass fanbase is going to read this as a majority of people want Orgeron over the other guys. I've already seen it referenced 3 times in that manner on this site.

Are people who are not LSU fans voting for Orgeron? Because holy fricking shite - how the hell can any long time fan of LSU consider Orgeron over accomplished coaches? fricking hell.

Was thinking the same thing. Outsiders want LSU to get the easiest guy to beat and that is Orgeron. Just like how the league wanted us to keep Miles. Orgeron is nowhere near Fisher or Herman.
