I'm still not understanding the hate he's getting. This is a dude who lives and breathes LSU and has put us in a great position from the dumpsterfire that Miles left us in.
Miles wasn't an "LSU" guy before he came here, it was just another higher paying job than he had at OSU.

The good thing is this is a business decision. The leaders of LSU should understand that and won't hire the local guy simply because he loves LSU or the players love him. The program already learned that having a likeable guy doesn't equate to success. Alleva didn't fire Miles to hire a DL coach.
