Anyone else tired of everyone in LSU sports media kissing his arse like he’s been successful on a collegiate and professional level for decades?

He’s eminently more qualified than Napier, whose name gets thrown around a hundred times a day.

shite at this point I’m just praying we don’t get left at the altar. Even our “safe fallbacks” Napier and Aranda are getting looked at pretty hard by TCU/VT and USC

If MSU is offering him 10 yrs and $9.5 mill there is ZERO reason lsu should hop in that boat to bid.

I'd argue that most of the people who don't want Tucker, don't want Napier either.
The Napier sect seem to prefer him over almost everybody else anyway.

Maybe because he barely has a .500 record as a HC in college to go along with his losing record as a NFL coach? I honestly don’t see how anyone can justify $100 million for this guy? He must be a hell of a salesman.

Well... Mel Tucker clearly isn't the home run hire that LSU should land. They should make a run at pevetohead... who's probably in the top 40 of TD Head Coaching candidates.
