You realize Ensminger means the House gets burned down, right?

You want ashes?

And their failure to do so should result in both being fired! If O and Alleva allow Ensminger to be promoted to OC then it is the Alumni, the student body, and the fans responsibility to see that they are held accountable and removed from their current positions. If we allow those over the Football Program to blatantly lie to us without any repercussions then we shouldn't complain when the program declines and eventually collapses back into the dark days of LSU Football!

Ensminger is more qualified than Gilbert. Y'all get too excited hearing any new name. Gilbert is not as good as you think. I have watched many games he has coached and totally unimpressed. That dude is not even in the same league as Ensminger when it comes to recruiting too. Go after a guy like a Kiffin if you really want to be successful.

Ensminger hasn't been an OC in 20 years. He got fired as OC at 3 different places. He clearly doesn't fit the description as "one of the very best coordinators in the country," the key promise made by Orgeron and The Search to justify hiring Orgeron.

The LSU fanbase isn't stupid, and isn't going to fall for this.

I think bayou fightingtiger wants whatever Orgeron wants. As has been observed before, posters with “bayou”, “eaux”, “Cajun” and “ jambalaya” in their handle generally want to promote the Orgeron agenda.

The OP earlier put up a thread bashing Canada’s offense. He seems very pro-O in his postings.

I didn’t not want Orgeron because he is Cajun and local. Having a local coach is great. I didn’t want O because his coaching resume is weak.

It’s almost like the administration acknowledged Orgeron’s coaching limitations by paying him less than more qualified coaches and surrounding him with top coordinators.

Ensminger is kind of like a Orgeron in that he is a local guy with not a strong resume as a coordinator. I like Ensminger, but we need a more proven hire.

Someone explain why they like Gilbert? Try not to waste too much time googling the positives?

If that happens you know LSU would have payouts for Alleva, Orgeron, and Esminger after the season right. By your logic of saving money is to throw away money?

I don't believe this shite for a minute. You've watched a guy field top 20 offenses at multiple schools and are unimpressed?

You have no idea how any of this works, do you?

You don’t have to google to understand that Ensminger was already OC “intern” for damn near a season and we threw no more than 5 passes over the middle. We as fans want to see some semblance of a real offense, you know, the same plays other teams use against us at will. We need an intermediate passing game, that’s a stone cold fact. It has killed this team for years and until we decide to modernize and use the pass with our run game we will continue to lose games due to ineptness on offense. It has nothing to do with Gilbert necessarily, just that everyone realizes what we WILL have with SE.
