Fleck's high energy "be elite everyday" act is super annoying.

MAC is trash. American had 3 or 4 teams in the top 25 at the same time last year. You're the retard, retard.

You didn't answer my question.

I don't know what the "American conference" is, but Fleck beat two P5 teams alone. Fleck also beat Central Michigan by five TDs. Central Michigan "beat" a 4-2 Okie State team. I think that you have no clue about what you're talking about.

I deleted what I wanted to answer because it was mean.

Fleck has done nothing significant outside of this job. Herman won a NC with a 3rd string qb and beat bama

No. Fleck was an NFL player. That is significant.

Well that will for sure make him a successful coach at one of the biggest programs in the country.

You're probably right. I have way overstated my case.

However, I think that some program will end up being happy as a clam for having Fleck. It's probably too early to bet on that, though.

I wouldn't doubt it. He would be a great hire for a team like Kentucky or teams similar to them

I didn't know Herman was the head coach at OSU. That's like saying Kiffin won national titles at Alabama and the head coach had no influence.

Yeah he beat Alabama.

Miles has 2 NC and beat Bama 4 times (5 we all know PP7 intercepted that ball) and played in and should have won a 3rd. Screw you Quinn and okie lite

I'm a big PJ Fleck guy but sadly he's not a big enough "name" for the majority of the fan base

Remind me of the top-10, Power 5 teams led by national championship-winning coaches that Western Michigan recently defeated...

Fleck has built a Team which is undefeated! This is not saying Herman in not good, it's just saying Fleck would be on the short list. You should interview him at the very least!

This, but he's not much different than Herman except Herman has some elite level wins under his belt.

Six years of coaching is a hell of a difference.

A national championship on your resume is a hell of a difference.

Being a record-setting offensive coordinator at four different programs is a hell of a difference.

Being a QBs coach versus a receivers coach is a hell of a difference.

This comparison has a very wide gap that favors Herman.

Good display of ignorance. You don't even know what conference they are in.

His ignorance doesn't change the fact that the MAC has sucked arse for a number of years now. Northern Illinois, and for awhile Central Michigan, is the only consistently good program in that putrid league.

This is problematic for us.

Guys like Charlie Weis were big names, and they sucked. I worry that we're going to break the bank to get the next best popular thing instead of the the next best successful thing.

Oh I'm for jimbo as well. Fleck is way more unproven than any serious candidate. Y'all will turn on him once he loses I'm sure
