Clark is tough as nails. Really fits the Steeler mantra.
I agree on their line. Hartwig or maybe Starks are the best they got. No real elite guys otherwise.
I still pull for them, since I was born in Philly.

Eagles are my top team.
Are you an Eagles fan then?

Larry Zierlein is apparently out as the Steelers' offensive line coach.
Zierlein was seen leaving the Steelers' practice facility today carrying boxes. His son, who is a sports talk show host in Houston, said on a Twitter post earlier today that his dad is the first assistant coach Mike Tomlin has fired following the Steelers' disappointing 9-7 season.
"My dad out in Pittsburgh but I'm proud of the job he did," Lance Zierlein tweeted.
Larry Zierlein succeeded Russ Grimm as the Steelers' offensive line coach in 2007.
There is still no word on the fate of offensive coordinator Bruce Arians or any of the other assistants coaches.
Arians is at the Steelers' practice facility today.

Never doubt The Dad.
Good call on that, I thought he'd be kept.
I wonder how much weight the Front Office is throwing around

There goes Lance Zierlien's "inside NFL info" for 1560.

Dude, Lance has more NFL/coaching connections than all of the other Houston radio show hosts combined without his dad counted as one. More than most national show hosts as well. I have yet to find anyone on sports talk radio that is as plugged in as Lance that is not on a ESPN, FOX Sports, NFL Network, etc. type national network.

I just don't see why you'd sack an OC that was obviously good enough for you to win the SB. But I guess if you think you can do better.
Same could be said for a OC good enough to win a national championship.
Not that I agree but someone was gonna say it.

No shite. I think Lance will do just fine.
I mean hell, he was the sports editor of the Rosenberg Middle School Town Crier.

Just laughing at the guy who suggested that Larry Zierlein was his son's only NFL source.
Lance has been on the air here for over a decade and co-hosts the highest rated AM sports show in Houston. He's also one of the best x's and o's analysts around, imo.
Here are some links if you want to check him out:

The station
You might also get a kick out of the Sean & John show during drive time, especially when SEC Guy calls in.
