Dude..he hasn't been the same since he lost Christensen to Wyoming like four years ago. He is a CEO. He doesn't have a good grasp of either side of the game.

KC Star hasn't reported it yet. This is an east west pissin match again, if not true.

The Mizzou alum I know want him out. This wouldn't be a huge surprise at all. I actually expect it to happen.

Internet rumors are that it's a dwi/fidelity situation.

What's the word? Did this turn out to be just a wild rumor, or is there any meat here?

Mizzou would probably be better served to wait this year out and try to hire a coach next year. They aren't going to hire a better coach than Arkansas, Tennessee, Auburn, and maybe not even Kentucky. This would put them in a tough situation trying to find a good coach.

I feel the same way. Too much movement in the SEC this year. Wait and see what happens next year. Pinkel may adjust, or may not. But at least there likely won't be as much competition for a coach as there will be this year.

ETA: Besides, by the end of next year, Todd Graham will have been at ASU for 2 years, so you know he'll be itching to move on.

the only way I could see them making a solid hire is if they lock someone up prior to letting the coach go. Kind of like A&M with Sumlin. If you don't have a coach first, you just keep Pinkel until next year.
