I'd take Sonny Cumbie or Todd Orlando in a heartbeat. Both coaches have deep ties in the south, so it will help in recruiting. And they are both part of big time programs and have had track records of success. It's a win-win with either of those two.

Yeah I like both. I think I'd prefer Cumbie because it's easier to win with offense for a G5 school.

So now we are supposed to believe that 3 coordinators of top 10-15 programs and a coordinator of the most valuable program in the country not only have interest, but are battling it out for the job?
I mean, LSU's OC, Penn St's DC, TCU's OC, and Texas' DC, right?
What could go wrong?

Don't compare ULL to Tennessee. Nothing is wrong with them taking their time. The only other AD that can botch hiring process like UT did is in Baton Rouge. And even UT made Allevas blunders look like child play.

Read a little on the Cajuns board, which my PC doesn't even think is safe, lol, and I can partly see why some Cajuns fans have a bad rep.
I mean, there is actual talk of making a hire with experience in the Big 12 because of some kind of idiotic belief that the could help get into that conference?

No. 1, hiring a fricking coordinator from the Big 12 has nothing to do with getting into another conference.
No. 2, what fricking planet are these idiots on that think they would even be remotely considered? We can't even get into CUSA.
