Supposedly his agent made first contact with the university regarding this position. Both of his brothers live in Lafayette and his wife is from there.
I would say he is/ was definitely interested.
Maybe Napier was the one trying to get a raise? Who knows at this point. Should be interesting how this plays out in the next day or 2.
Either Pry or Napier would be solid hires IMO

I was told yesterday that admin was nervous about some baggage he apparently has. This is second hand information so take that for what it’s worth, but I am sure some already know of his past dealings with a DWI.... or two? Not sure if this has anything to do with the offer to a new coach.
