It came down to Dykes and Napier.
Napier had an offer. He didn't commit. TCU moved their chips all in on Dykes. At least that's what I was told.

If Napier is getting all these offers that he’s turning down he must want to stay put or he’s got eyes on a bigger prize. I know some want him at LSU but that’s just not realistic for him and LSU at this juncture. Could be he gets considered but not offered which seems more plausible.

If he really turned down Auburn then he's looking for a LSU or Florida level job.
