Ran into Scott at the club tonight, ask him was everything good with coaching seach. He said, “Couldn’t be any better, Trip. Don’t worry I got this covered. Not my first rodeo.”
There do you all feel better now.
(Ok that really didn’t happen, but it might as well have happened.)
It’s like making an appointment to have surgery with best surgeon in the South then sitting around and freaking out and worrying about it for months. You hired the right guy, he has a great reputation, he has done this surgery a bunch of times, he has this.
Woodward was hired to make this hire. He is going to get a great football coach for LSU, according to at least half this board it would be impossible for him to hire someone worse than the last two coaches.

the conversation is a joke dude. Woody ain’t Alleva. 90% of LSU fans don’t realize what a ducking national joke he was.
I was told point blank on Mark Packers show that no national Prominent coach would ever go to LSU as long as he was AD, before the Jimbo fiasco . That he was considered a buffoon and a joke.
