re: When will LSU learn

Good to see y’all are still obsessed.
So you learned from yesterday Arkansas is Tier 3? Nice.
Was also good to see the defense make a stop on 3rd down when we had to have it. Horrible all night but backs against the wall they stepped up.
This argument is just lazy and bad. We wont be able to tell for years probably. The Notre Dame fan base blamed Kelly really for having his hands on the offense and thought when Rees takes over on offense without Kelly handcuffing him, they would take off. That hasn’t happened yet for sure.

Day never has Ohio State ready to play at the beginning of the season. What’s new?

All that matters is Kelly is absolutely who we needed with where our program was at after Ed O. Excited for tomorrow.

Jayden Daniels Spring Game Narrative

Posted by JoeBurreaux on 8/16/22 at 9:06 am
Let’s start off by being honest with ourselves. We’re all idiots on this board. And the idiots united after seeing Daniels at the spring game pulling the ball and running on a lot of his pass attempts.

One thing I think people need to realize is that he had around a month from getting on campus to the spring game. It’s just not enough time to be able to firmly grasp a new playbook. As a result, I think in the spring game he just relied more on his athletic ability as he didn’t feel comfortable with the plays or his reads.

I would be fine with either Nuss or Daniels starting at QB, but I do think a lot of people are making judgements on Daniels from an extremely small sample size where he had a month to get the playbook down and saying that’s who he is. I haven’t watched every game he played but I’ve seen some highlight throws he’s made that are really impressive.

As another post said the other day. Maybe Daniels is just a damn good QB who’s showing out with better talent and coaching around him.
Oh god. Can the season please start. I can’t take many more of these. (Hint: Everyone is excited about him. Not his year though.)
I know brother. I was just joking with all the QB questions we have now.
The great staff top to bottom really makes things exciting moving forward. Think the interview Brad Davis had with Culotta really showed the focus and competition being brought in the program.
Were we running the Joe Brady offense at this point? That’s probably why.
Is Ed O not starting for us on D-Line this year?
I’m not sure how this conversation came up but as a student who just graduated, the band are the main culprits if you truly want it to stop. As I’m sure most of you know they outlawed the band from playing the original neck song so now the band plays a very similar song with the same rhythm. Is it impossible for the student section to start the chant on their own? Definitely not but when I was there for football games I would say 80-90% of the time we chanted was due to the band playing the similar cadence. If LSU truly wants to end it they would need to go talk to the band director to end playing the similar song. Not sure about other sports like basketball but that’s how it was for football. I’m sure the student section could find another way to do the chant but it would make things a lot harder as most of the section is pissing themselves drunk. Don’t think a game ban would do anything personally. Would probably end up making it worse and the students do it more because that’s just how we were.
I’m worried because the last defensive coordinator with supposed recruting issues but was great at developing talent didn’t turn out so well. Oh wait……….

I personally think in the long run it's gonna be bad for the sport until the NCAA does something (:rotflmao:) as far as framework and regulations.

HOWEVER, as of now each school is gonna have to adapt and assume the NCAA won't do much. With Kelly here I'm confident we can make a push to get a great NIL system in place. With the transfer portal avalilable it's not like we lose these recruits forever. If LSU can get a good NIL process in place there's a good chance we can get some of these guys to come back to Louisiana and the good boys.
That’s what I’m worried about. I’m worried FSU lost out on Hunter so now they have a massive bag and are offering Armella and now Frazier a lot to sign early to keep the class intact. Let’s hope it’s LSU throwing the bag at him.
Couldn't understand. Maybe more wrestling gifs would help next time?

California kid that came because of the championship season. Shouldn't have expected more from a quitter.
