You don't question the coach about coaching rumors.
You have to track down the agent.

How about what Gary himself said...

"My name comes up every year. My actions have spoken for what I am."

- TCU coach Gary Patterson on rumors that he's a top candidate for jobs at Arkansas and Tennessee

Have spoken is past tense, by the way.

so he is either going to Auburn or doesn't know they exist. If he isn't going to Auburn then I have to think he's going to Arkansas. He has yet to just say I'm staying here, could this be a more I'm a loyal coach to schools so I have to keep my mouth shut?

I don't know of any candidates that are as qualified as him. I just read through his wiki page and the dude seems to have all the signs of a great coach and clearly doesn't like to move around a whole lot. He's drawn interest from all over the country.

If he leaves, and BTW I do not think he comes to AR, he is looking for a way out. Week to week TCU is in over its head in the BIG12.

yes, it would probably mean the end of that programs success unless they really did come up with some of that crazy oil money.

TCU will always be last among the big Texas schools.

Texas
Texas A&M
Texas Tech
Baylor
TCU

When they were in the MWC, they could thrive on being a big fish in a little pond, but not in the Big 12.
