ummmm yea you do know Northwestern is his school right? he has been there forever and done a great job and has them spending crazy amounts on facilities.

Great coach. But he’s a born and bred Illinois guy who is coaching his alma mater. He is under contract until 2027 and if he’s not the highest paid coach in the Big10, he’s close to it. Northwestern is also spending major money on facilities.
It would actually be really hard to get him to leave and he’d probably only leave for an NFL job.
I’d also be worried that he may not fit in in the SEC and might not be a good fit at a bigger program.
That being said, he’s a great coach and I’d be excited if we got him.
