Apparently Dabo is coming to Norman and brining Venables with him…
Who’s going to announce it you ask? Apparently they are setting up a concert with Drake to perform in their stadium in Norman, OK.

TAMU fans are homosex
But nobody, and I mean NOBODY, is as delusional as OU fans. Irrelevant for over 20 years and still think they’re the Lamborghini of college football. At least Nebraska and Tennessee embrace their irrelevance with dignity.

Everyone is reaching now, because Joe C leaked Matt Rhule, and they all ran with it, which showed who couldn't keep a secret. So nobody has heard anything since the beginning, because only Joe C knows. It's assumed he's keeping the president and the BOR chair updated, but those are the only two he's talking with on actual candidates.
So since nothing is getting leaked, everyone is making up rumors.
As I posted way back, Dabo was a candidate. His agent reached out to let them know he was interested, but OU didn't know if it was legit or being done for a raise. Because it's all quiet, I have no clue what the update is from the list back in the post below.

I mean, we’re guilty of it to a degree. We did get spurned by Herman and Jimbo. LSU is a top 7 CFB job. Im not sure OU could say the same.
