He was 3-21 in the SEC at Ole Miss. He also has never even held a DC position before.

I don't even think FCS teams would consider him for HC. Seriously.

They're FCS. Too prestigious to consider O.

Maybe a HS might consider O for HC but that's probably it.

Probably not. And the funny thing is, he's going to beat your team along with many other SEC teams. Imagine what a proven coach could do...

What he did ten years ago is definitely a concern...however

As interim coach in the last 3 years he is 9-2 with losses to Notre Dame and #22 UCLA in 2013.

We don't have to make a decision today....and we won't. But if he wins out which will include 5 ranked wins...he will definitely be looked at considering his recent record. The chances are very slim he gets the gig...but you can't rule him out yet and good for him for giving it his all.

CEO has been asked about many jobs. He only wants an elite hc job.

Similar to Bo Pelini when he was here.

Nobody takes a job as a DL coach because they only want an elite HC job.

Even if New Mexico wanted him as head coach he'd have been happy to leave a job as an LSU position coach to take that job.

EVERY team in which O as interim coach salvaged a lost season, ran the gauntlet of the 7 remaining SEC games including Alabama, and put said team in legitimate discussion for a playoff spot.

I can tell you 100%, that LSU would hire Orgeron way before it hired McElwain.

PROVE THAT shite. You can't because it isn't true

Is that why he begged Syracuse last year for an interview? They are an elite job?

Well, at least LSU doesn't have to go to Colorado St and hire their coach.

Little to no one. That's who. Best Bama then maybe he gets some looks from other schools, but as i posed this exact same question on another thread no one could answer it.

We'll probably beat Florida, but i understand the point you're making. It's absurd. If they hire O and we find out Jimbo, Kelly, Herman, Petrino were interested Alleva deserves to be fired.
