I shouldn’t have used the term “ground and pound”, I should’ve known that would spark nightmares from the Miles toss dive era. I realized that after the fact. What I meant was a team that doesn’t play smash-mouth football. Forgive me?

Because one dimensional teams are easier to defend.

you might want to check OU's rushing stats since Riley has been around before you spew nonsense. Idiot.

He has had much better running teams in the past and LA has no shortage of Runningbacks.

Overall this isn’t his strongest team

Riley's Sooner's total rushing yards per game year by year:

2015 - 22nd with 222 YPG - LSU 7th with 256 YPG
2016 - 18th with 236 YPG - LSU 23rd with 232 YPG
2017 - 26th with 217 YPG - LSU 28th with 206 YPG
2018 - 11th with 246 YPG - LSU 56th with 172 YPG
2019 - 13th with 235 YPG - LSU 51st with 170 YPG
2020 - 45th with 185 YPG - LSU 107th with 121 YPG

Since Riley has been a head coach, the only time we've outrushed his sooners for a season was with Les Miles as head coach.

Oh yeah because OU plays against such amazing defenses, smarty.

For the current season, the sooners are averaging 50 more rushing yards a game than LSU.

Because it’s show he generally can run the ball.

OP is literally about Riley not being able to run the ball.

I think it’s yet to be seen, I haven’t seen them do anything spectacular against notable defenses.

For the record, I think Riley is a good coach and he’d bring excitement to the program. I just still have some skepticism.

No no no. You don’t get to be an a-hole and try to rip a hole in every accomplishment and then slap a “oh by the way I think he’s a good coach and he would be good here” in case he comes. frick that don’t bitch out

how many teams played us closer than Oklahoma? Pretty much all of them, that game was a cakewalk!

Good news is we won’t have to play the 2019 LSU team on our schedule anytime soon

You shouldn’t which is why you should also look at his history of generally having an effective run game.
