Yeah its his fault he came into the season low on rbs, though he didn't know ow Bradford would transfer back, but what I'm saying is looking at his career as a whole, running the ball hasn't been a problem

If Lincoln Riley is our guy, please help me understand why I should be excited about a team that doesn’t run the ball well

Tell me you don’t know anything about Lincoln Riley without telling me you don’t know anything about Lincoln Riley.

Oklahoma had THREE 1000+ yard rushers in 2018 lmfao. That’s unheard of in modern college football.

No no no.
I’m completely justified in my concerns. That performance against Baylor was piss-poor.

For the record, I think Riley is a good coach and he’d bring excitement to the program. I just still have some skepticism.
having skepticism about his rushing game is dumb. He has one of the best rushing schemes im the past few years in CFB.

Just say you didn't know, because doubling down makes you look retarded.

For the current season, the sooners are averaging 50 more rushing yards a game than LSU
Same question. So you're saying that should give him a pass?

That's valid, but still not a good look for a coach whose whole identity is recruiting and offense.

Amazing how much stock some people put in 1 game.

Reading comprehension 101 - It said that Aranda’s defense has held Riley’s offense to historic lows THREE times

Hey OP. You can't win the SEC by relying on the run game anymore. Every defense is designed to stop the run first. Got to open it up with the pass against equally or more talented teams. That is modern football 101. Don't want a coach who likes to pound the good ole rock at the expense of the passing game.

He was when I originally posted. Now that he is no longer headed this way I thought people might find solace in the fact that he’s definitely SOFT
