playoff possibility or chance is very unlikely now, not impossible but they would have to run the board and have some key losses among the other contenders. No team in history has ever been ranked lower than spot 9 at this point in season and make playoffs in history so far. So Oklahoma and Wake Forrest likely done.
Welcome to Baton Rouge Coach Riley ! (You better keep Jones or hire a serious DC, we aren’t into giving up 30 pts a game on defense here even if we win)

Hell, they should pay us to take Riley off their hands

I keep seeing people say this and its complete nonsense to say they are 13 so there fore they have no shoot. Have you guys not seem the committee do not move teams incrementally like the polls?
They obviously would have to win out, which frankly seems unlikely, but if they did they would be 12-1 Big 12 Champs, they would still need help, but not as much as people make out. Oregon is very capable of throwing up on themselves which would leave the Pac 12 with no one the could finish without at least 2 losses 12-1 OU gets in over 2 loss Pac 12 team. The B1G champ could also easily have 2 losses, that also would likely put a 12-1 OU in.
TL;DR OU would have to win out and get help, to quote Rocco Lampone, difficult, but not impossible.

Everyone says OU has no shot yet they are the 5th highest odds to make the playoffs in Vegas. And they don’t hand out money
12-1 OU will get in
12-1 OU will get in

They would need about 8 teams in front of them to drop at least one more game.

I don’t think they would get in over bama is they lose in close game to Georgia and definitely not over Georgia if they lose in close game to Bama. It’s never happened before for a reason, plus they aren’t winning 4 in a row against ranked teams.

And everyone would be right…
The playoff will be UGA/Bama/Big10 and either Oregon or Cinci, maybe both of those last two if UGA beats Bama
And if there’s some chaos then Notre Dame will slip in

Doubtful unless other teams in front lose another game.
If Cincinnati doesn’t lose, they are in. Georgia could lose to Bama in the SEC championship game and both are in Georgia of course is in if undefeated. Oregon is in if they don’t lose. Ohio State is in if they don’t lose.
Notre Dame would be in over Oklahoma if they don’t lose another one.
Both the Michigan teams would be in over Oklahoma if either of them don’t lose another game.
And lastly, Oklahoma State is in over them if they don’t lose though they play Oklahoma State next weekend so that’s a moot point.
No way all of those teams are going to lose. Bottom line, it ain’t happening for Oklahoma this year.

Only if Bamabeats Georgia in the SEC championship game. No way a 2 loss Bama is getting in over conference champs.

Yep, and ND has GaTech and Stanford left, so they won’t be losing again.

Yeah that’s why I said both Oregon and Cincy in if UGA beats Bama (Bama out)

OU isn't likely to get in but it's not impossible.
Oregon is going to lose to Utah this weekend.
Ohio State is going to eliminate both Michigan schools.
Cincinnati is already out. No one wants to see them. Plus, I think they'll lose to Houston in their CCG.
Assume UGA beats Bama (Bama isn't that good).
Assume OU wins out (probably won't, lol).
UGA
Ohio St
Notre Dame
Oklahoma

Cincinnati has SMU and East Carolina. Doubtful they lose either of those.
Oregon has Utah (could lose to them) and Oregon State (probably won’t lose to them)
Ohio State could lose to either Michigan team or neither or both.
Michigan State has OSU and Penn left. If they beat OSU they should beat Penn
Michigan has Maryland (will likely win that gane) and Ohio State (toss up).
Bottom line, it ain’t happening for Oklahoma.

Lol, they most certainly are not. They are in a prime position to get in.

False. They win out, they are in. Period.

I wasn't being completely serious (projecting hope).
The committee really doesn't want Cincy in the playoffs but they won't get a choice if Cincy keeps winning. I think Cincy blows SMU out as well as ECU. The Houston CCG will be huge. Houston has a sneaky good team.
