Well, that's that, I guess. I'm generally not a super negative person. But, the apathy has already started creeping in. Maybe I'll be hopeful and excited by the time the new season starts.

Every time I click on this thread I hit downvote in hopes that I can show my disapproval multiple times. Alas, no such luck

Good hire. I am glad we got another Louisiana native who bleeds purple and gold. GEAUX TIGERS!

We love Steve but he didn't want the job and was content where he was.

Any of

Gilbert
Sark
Briles
Freeze
Cumbie
Gilbert
Yurich

Would have been well received

He did very well against crappy defensive teams. Not so much against Florida and Bama. And even though we are told that it's not that big of a deal... it is.

Welp it’s the beginning of the end for O. I’m sad that we have to suffer atleast one more season with him but happy that there is an end on the horizon

Can't wait to hear O's explanation on the great OC search just conducted. How lazy has this football program become.

Coach E is a damn good coach, and I think our offense will surprise a lot of people. He was not my first choice, but in my top 5. Now O has his man, and the results will prove if this is a good hire. NONE of us on the board here knows how the story will end. NONE.

In the end, O has lied to the fan base and Alleva has allowed it to happen. It was his job to keep up the commitment to bring the best Coordinators available. It only applies to defense evidently. Offense does not matter to these guys. Defenses we face next year, Miami, Auburn, Georgia, Alabama, Florida and I'll even put Mississippi State.

Ensminger, widely regarded for his development of quarterbacks, spent the past eight years on the Tigers coaching staff from 2010-17.

If he’s so widely regarded for his development of qbs, then why the frick have ours all sucked during his 8 years here? (Not including Mett’s 2013 season)
