Obviously I'm a pitt fan. I wish you guys luck with MC. His offense was very fun to watch and he adapts to the weapons he has. Do me a favor and freaking beat Bama

Not many at pitt were thrilled when they hired him last year and you see how well he worked out for us

O leaking info to Culotta in exchange for all his support
You viginas and your hate lol. Who cares. The guy HAS the gig as the local sports talk show. If he wants to support someone why are you so butt hurt over it? Honestly i think they have been pretty critical of whats been happening especially offering Tua. So go start your own show if youre that emotional about him supporting his former partner.
I just made an obvious observation. Your buttlove for O and Culotta appears to have caused you to unnecessarily white knight for them.

but this was a fantastic hire.

What makes this a fantastic hire? Serious question. I never really heard much about him until LSU started talking to him or until he was a serious candidate. Has he always been considered a really good OC nationally?

Can he attract quality QB's and develop them? If we can't develop quarterbacks it doesn't matter who calls the plays, what plays are called or the scheme.

Awesome!! But either Aranda or Canada is going to need to start wearing a hat so we can tell them apart on the sideline.
frick that. One paints his head purple, the other paints it gold.

Much like Aranda, he's never had to do it on a high level yet. But he has a great history:
quote:

Canada's work with quarterbacks is extensive.

At N.C. State, he molded former Florida quarterback Jacoby Brissett into one of the nation’s most efficient passers. Brissett threw 43 touchdowns and only 11 interceptions over his junior and senior seasons. Pitt quarterback Nathan Peterman led the ACC in QB rating this year and had 26 touchdowns to six interceptions.

At Indiana, Canada coached two of the most prolific quarterbacks in IU history in Ben Chappell and Kellen Lewis. Chappell holds Indiana career records for completion percentage. Lewis holds the season record for touchdown passes and ranks second with 48 career TD passes.

Canada does not shy away from running his quarterback. In four of his 11 seasons as an FBS coordinator, his quarterback has run for 500 yards or more. Chandler Harnish, in 2011 at Northern Illinois, ran for 1,379.

"Very easy-going, competitive and poised on game day," O'Brien said.

He'll now get the opportunity to develop top talent. Aranda had a history much like Canada. He developed what he had VERY well and was great at scheming. Now we see what Aranda can do with guys like Duke Riley. Let's see what Canada can do on a high level.

Is that Saban's wife with the erruption? BEcause he'/ the happiest coach in the SEC right now. The one school that has the talent to make him nervous will be dinking and dunking to HB's in the flat. Canada's O will never beat Slick Nick
