Minter might be a pipe dream, but watching that Michigan defense play with that saltiness brings back memories of past LSU defenses. Just watching that game, I was envy watching 2 physical defenses.

DJ Durkin, unless he’s holding out for a HC job. He did a 1-yr transformation of the Ole Miss defense, so aTm poached him. He had the number 1 defense in the SEC last year and is currently available, so he checks a LOT of boxes.

My choice:

1. Blake Baker
2. Jesse Minter (pipe dream unless Harbaugh leaves.)
3. Tony Gibson

The rest are meh.

I don’t think LSU gets Blake Baker. I think his recent extension at Missouri may be related to LSU inquiries a couple of weeks ago.

Phil Parker, Iowa DC

For the love of Pete please take this guy off the list. He's going to retire an Iowa assistant.

D'Anton Lynn isn't leaving U$C either. Just got there.

I like Schumann, Baker, Gibson, even DJ Durkin. If Minter is interested, you move him up the list.

Give me Muschamp. I don't think he has any envy to be a head coach again, and he's a proven winner as a DC in the SEC.

I"m not that interested in the bloated defenseive stats of the shitty arse Big10, although i do like Minter and Leonhard, but i coudl see both of them getting HC gigs in the very near future, unlike Muschamp.
If we got Leonhard or Minter they'd be here 2 years at best. They would either be good and would get a HC gig, or they would suck and we'd get rid of them.

Go all in on Minter because it looks like Harbaugh is out of there after the title game.

Dennis Allen? He will probably be available soon, easy commute for him.

May have already been mentioned, but Minter got his first paying gig from Kelly at Cincy.

Look at whoever Trace Armstrong represents. No guarantee but a good possibility.

That’s pretty cool.

He's coaching at his alma mater with his son on the team. That's gonna be a hard sell.
