Anxious to see how this plays out. I remember all the excitement at Tennessee when Kiffin went there. Before it was over the City Council was making proposals to name the wastewater treatment plant after him.

I saw this coming 3 years ago. Surprised it didn't happen earlier.

At first, I thought that this was an odd decision by Kiff. Why would he want to go to the SEC West? The money is definitely right so it might not be about anything more than that.
One thing is for sure though... He spoke with CEO a couple of times during this process since they are friends. Hell, after leaving Bama he filled CEO in on how superior Nicky's program was and Ed promptly hired a dozen analysts, etc. to catch up. They are friends and I have to wonder if they won't be doing a little teaming up from time to time when it benefits them. (think recruiting)
Why else would you want to be in the SEC West with the chips stacked against you? There were a half dozen jobs getting filled during the time that he was choosing OM. FSU is one example.
