Well Michigan's 7 million dollar a year coach hasn't really gotten them anywhere. Or any better.

It is a rather large gamble. Especially if the contract is ten years as reported. A&M needs consistent 10 win seasons for this to actually pay off on the field. He did well in the ACC. But the ACC has been a two team conference since he got there. There are more challenges for A&M in the division than the entire ACC for FSU.

why because he wouldn't agree to a 10 year 7.5 million deal. I actually think if that contract is true, it vindicates why Jimbo was not accepted as LSU's coach last year. I think that contract is ridiculous

If anybody thinks this guys gonna roll into texas a&M and all of a sudden start winning National championships they are mistaken. This aint the ACC and if anything this year proved he's a good coach but not great. 7.5 mill for 10 years wow. Gonna look funny after 5 years and he still has no SEC championships This has desperation all over it but i dont blame A&M they had to try and do something but in the toughest division in college football gonna be tough.

We need a championship. I don’t care if we win 8 games here and there if the up seasons include hardware

When comparing Jimbo and O, the only years that matter for an lsu fan should be 2017-

Why is Jimbo leaving a Top Tier 1 school like Florida St to go to A&M?

I would not have offered 10 years 7.5 million for Jimbo

This. Jimbo had a good 3 year run with Jameis Winston, but since then he's had at least 3 losses every year playing a weaker schedule in the ACC than he will in the SEC-W. Gonna be one hell of a buyout if Jimbo has a bunch of 8-4 seasons
