why because he wouldn't agree to a 10 year 7.5 million deal. I actually think if that contract is true, it vindicates why Jimbo was not accepted as LSU's coach last year. I think that contract is ridiculous.

All of these contracts are out of control and LSU had the means with which to pay it, so what's the difference. It wasn't like it was university funds. Alleva is just a cuck and didn't want to pay it and now A&M is another problem in our division and hey look like a far more serious program than LSU.

Lol, you guys are idiots.

It’s an embarrassment that Jimbo turned LSU down last year and is now going to an inferior division rival. O tumbles farther down the SEC coaching rankings.

I’m happy we didn’t get him if it took a 10 year contract to do it.

I can't believe he voluntarily landed in the West. did Saban tell him he's going to retire soon?

I would rather have had Jimbo than O

I would not have offered 10 years 7.5 million for Jimbo

We can affordably fire O next year already if needed to.

Ahh, good idea. Lets Judge 0 and Jimbo on this year

As of now, Aggie has paid for 5-6 and no bowl.....

I think the bigger problem is the 10 years than the 7.5 million.

We don’t have a history of coaches staying that long besides Mac and Miles.

If things went downhill here like they did at Florida State this year, it would have been expensive as all hell to buy him out because of the contract being so long.

So many melting pussies in this thread. Jimbo has to change: defense, offense, culture. And compete in a tougher conference. LSU, Bama, Auburn every year. Throw in Florida / Georgia if they are on rotation or if he makes it to SEC title.

His first year will have him 2-2 through week four. Four or five losses wouldn't shock me.
