What the frick are you talking about

If you ran a program, you’d be too much of a pussy to even call an agent and check the temperature because of something as retarded as a base alignment. If I ran a championship program, I’d list the top coordinators on the planet and call their agents. I’d offer them what they are worth down my list until one says yes.

Yet again this has nothing to do with what I would do you fricking dolt.

Why are you angry?

You should call a therapist. But not any of the really good ones. And only one who specializes in anger and who is willing to work with incels.

It’s not anger, it’s more like that frustration you get when a child can’t grasp a very simple concept they’ve been explained 100 times

Grasp?

You thinking LSU isn’t good enough for top flight DCs has been made perfectly clear.

He wants a 4-3 style defense and when Da was ready to move on he was switching!

And that’s likely a big reason O will
be canned after next season—this stupid obsession with an outmoded 4-3 in 2021. Oh yeah, that’s the way to stop a modern spread/rpo designed to get the ball out quickly and beat a pass rush—take out a mobile LB and put in one more heavy lineman.

We saw this season how our macho “attacking” 4-3 was shredded by opposing OC’s. Don’t forget, O is a DL coach. He doesn’t understand scheme. He teaches technique. That’s what a position coach does and that’s O’s ceiling. I’ll always be grateful to him for catching lightning in a bottle in 2019 but now it’s back to the real world.

Fun fact. Wiscy didn’t bother to put him on scholarship until his senior year. He was a 2 time all American and 2 time all conference safety at that point. Remind Jim of this.

VSaint,

Good research there or good lawyering

Wow, he was an All American and still not on scholly until his Sr year. Yes, I would still be butthurt over that.

I wanted him as DC before O hired Pelini, heck Wisky was good to us with our last DC hire from there and Leonard is just as good if not better than Aranda. However, he may stay put but you can at least throw $2M-2.5 at him and see what he says.

My pick is Freeman as he would be here for 3-5 years and make his mark at a major school then be plucked for a HC gig in 4-5 years. He makes $700,000 now so double that to $1.5 year 1 then increase 10% per year so in year 4 he makes $2m. Guaranteed only first 2 years and buyout by any poaching teams is a flat rate of $5m in any year of his deal.

Late to the party, but here are my thoughts on Jim Leonhard...

Jim and his wife are Wisconsin people - both grew up there and family still lives in the state. Money isn't the issue, obviously, and his wife does not want to move. Both consider Madison 'home' and Jim has, repeatedly, told the media that he's drawn to Wisconsin's culture and what is represents, including the job security (he has three sons and they built a house).

In general, I'm just not sure Jim needs another college DC position. He's well set for success in Madison until an NFL DC or college HC offer comes.

This. Anyone who can't tell that he is going to be their next HC isn't paying attention.
