Vocal minority without any say in the actual hiring of a new coach.

It damn sure isn't coming from the crying pissing and moaning on here.

And yes, the AD and the money people are the ones that matter.

Last year doesn't matter anymore.

The AD and money people do not have a very good track record on recent hires and have pretty much been a disaster the past two years.

Wait...are y'all seriously acting like the rant and coaching changes board isn't overwhelmingly anti-O?

I'm confident it will be a top notch hire. He'll be hated on this site and the call in shows no matter who it is.

If we lose to Arkansas it's gonna get ugly really fast for O. This could end ugly.. I don't think O will be at Lsu next year

But he will tell you all about Coach O's 4 NC rings, and how that somehow makes him qualified to be LSU's HC.

O is not at the top of the list for me but the Bama loss shouldn't change the minds of those who have him at the top. If he gets the job he now knows he absolutely has to go with a new coordinator (probably would have anyway) and maybe a new O-line guy. He knows this type of offense is ineffective and no longer tolerated by the fanbase and powers-that-be. And he provides some continuity to potential recruits. So O fans relax, he wasn't going to rebuild Rome in a day.

last november when Miles was retained, they mattered.. otherwise the trigger would have been pulled then and we wouldnt be in this mess now..

Going off this board alone I would say they are a vocal minority. Different story tailgating Saturday. Almost everyone I spoke with wants him. Maybe they were all just really drunk.

Keep believing what they told the media. The money was not in place to fire one coach and hire another.
