Nutt is a good coach, but he seems to really only be good at the ra-ra underdog role. Not sure how he can do at a large school where you are expected to win 9-10 games every year.

I actually think he might have a better chance of winning at Ole Miss than Auburn right now. He can't bail after 1 season.

Not sure why you think that is so funny. The talent level at Auburn right now is below the talent level at Ole Miss. That is a fact.

With Miss St. and AU on the downswing, and Petrino w/ plenty of work ahead of him, there's no reason why Ole Miss can't move into the top 3 in the West on an annual basis. Besides, his in-state competition recruiting-wise is far easier now than it would be if he went to AU.

Nutt's agent linked his name to every job opening while he was at Arkansas. He's just doing the same shite again to get a raise from Ole Miss. Ole Miss will likely do it to save themselves from losing another coach to AU

Pete Boone at Ole Miss ain't one to start throwing money around. If Sexton is trying to get Nutt a raise by throwing his name out there, Nutt should be ready to take the Auburn job if offered because Boone will probably tell him that.

Sexton will run the name of everyone of his coaches thru the AU job hunt to get them raises. Hell I would even the surprised if he got Lil Nicky name in the hunt too. After all its been two years and $ hasnt gotten a huge raise. Its time to start extorting Bama.
