That's the problem. The job is good, as good as any in the country. No one wants to live in this broke arse, crooked politician having, ugly arse state with nothing going for it. Herman chose Austin, riley chose los angeles. We offered Baton Rouge

Just said the same thing.

Why wound Riley want to raise his family in Baton Rouge? Pains me to say that but it’s true.

This is more than likely the case honestly. I left that shithole state and will never go back.

It’s one of the highest taxed states in the country with absolutely jack shite to show for it.

Make all that money to have it taxed like crazy and give your family a shite quality of life… no thanks.

That's my thought as well. Young rich guys don't want this simple life area. With that said, Riley to me on top of wanting a "fun" area, doesn't want to coach in the SEC AT ALL.

I wonder will he wish he had made a different decision like Herman did, or will he even care because he's going to live the high life.

Get Recreational Pot legal in LA and the rest will take care of itself. Until that is done, we remain the BYU of the South.

I have lived in 12 states (including FL and CA) and been to 45. This is COMPLETELY false. LA may have its issues, but nothing worse than any other state. Its just different.

I would say the biggest thing working against Louisiana isn't the food or people or even the life style. It's the state legislature and how "involved" they are. No one wants to deal with that. Other states don't get this involved with college football programs.

Over 300 miles of pristine Gulf of Mexico shoreline with abundance of natural resources most states would kill for to attract private business and quality workforce. Incredible fishing/outdoor activities with as diverse a culture and history of any state.

Louisiana is littered with world class restaurants and music scene second to none.

Not sure what your angle is, but LSU and LA was enough to pry Tate from SCAR and Woody from A&M. We’ll be fine.
