Riley’s family will never see that part. He’ll only see it on the recruiting trail. The part Riley and his family will see is paradise.

For this that do not live in La. , I have to agree. But if you have 12m a year, it is different.

What a slap in the face.

Man y'all are some self-loathing folks. If you pay me $10 million per year, I can live a good life anywhere in this country. And for college football, there isn't a better place to be in this country between September and early December than the Deep South

And this is why we all need to come to the understanding that LSU will just have to pay big name coaches more money than other schools. Can't get around that.

Over 300 miles of pristine Gulf of Mexico shoreline with abundance of natural resources most states would kill for to attract private business and quality workforce. Incredible fishing/outdoor activities with as diverse a culture and history of any state.

Louisiana is littered with world class restaurants and music scene second to none.

Not sure what your angle is, but LSU and LA was enough to pry Tate from SCAR and Woody from A&M. We’ll be fine.

There isn't a quality workforce and we don't attract private business.

Tate left for a promotion and Woodward is a native of Baton Rouge who came home.

Baton Rouge is just not the same sort of destination that LA and Austin are.

Louisiana has the 4th highest poverty rate in the country behind Mississippi, Puerto Rico, and American Somoa.

One of the highest sales tax rates in the country.

Next to last in education.

Bottom 5 in employment.

Highest murder rates per capita in America

No wonder we can’t hire a good coach and are stuck with people like Ed Orgeron. You don’t have to like it, but these are the facts.

Then leave or don’t move here
Life’s too short

People who live here love it and that’s all that matters

Orgeron lived in Mandeville where most people with money like that probably live anyways. Mandeville to BR isn’t a bad commute or you can get a condo in Br. 10 million a year goes a long way in Louisiana.
