Great Hire. He has been tutoring under Carroll and is a great young coach. He will do a nice job up in Seattle and will have the Husky Defense respectable again in a few years. Great Recruiting job by Sark to get him to come to UW after Holt wasen't going to come initially.

He was never really in control of the defense at all, Carroll was. Probably a good move on his part in that he'll have a lot more control.

Not a lateral move at all. He can now be the D Coordinator at one of the 2 best Tradition Rich Programs on the West Coast period that is rebuilding in UW.
