right...the service academies have to run the option...it is the only way for them to compete...

Would running the option really be that bad? Especially with all the talent and speed in South Florida. They're trying to hold on to Teddy Bridgewater and what better way than to bring in a coach that runs a similar offense to the one he runs now. Tweak it a little and it could be like Oregon's offense.

Georgia Tech's been pretty successful running the option, up until this year, so I don't see why Miami couldn't do it with better players.

Calhoun's an Air Force dude... might not be as easy to get him out of there than you think.

But man is he a GOOD coach. VERY intelligent, and his team know what the hell it's doing all the time.

I've been a lifelong Air Force fan, and I would hate to see the Falcons lose him.

Hearing Mullen is a done deal. Also the U would never take Butch Davis back with Shalala as president. He is part of the culture that Shalala tried to get rid of when she hired Shannon.Good coach with a lot of baggage.

The U should try to get Davis back pronto! The junk that went on at UNC is bad for him, but the way he handled it after the fact has shown he is a good coach.

I would think Larry Fedora would light up the scoreboard at Miami, worth a look.

Solid young HC on the rise. Notching a serious resume.

And how can you forget that well-drilled Special Teams of his getting onto the field for that FG before Halftime with no TOs? Sharp.
