Just one day after resigning as offensive coordinator at Pittsburgh, Mark Whipple has resurfaced at Nebraska in the same role under head football coach Scott Frost, it was announced Wednesday.

I guess he figured he'd take a stab at it and retire when Frost gets fired next year.

Frostie not going to have any excuses going forward. He better get Big Red back to winning ways.

I would like to see Frost survive; good for him.

Frost's recruiting class this year is awful. He still has time, but I cannot see it improving as much as he needs.

I think he’s a good coach. Nebraska just can’t steal talent from all over like in the ‘80s and ‘90s.

Interesting. Has Frost called plays his whole time there?

I mean...who the hell wants to go play in Nebraska?

Now that football has evolved to be more dependant on skill players instead of corn fed linemen, Nebraska is done

Looks like he might make some last-minute pickups of LSU decommits, such as Decoldest

You'd be surprised. Every game is a sellout, no matter who they play. There's not a more passionate fan base. Their first game next year is in Dublin, Ireland and I guarantee that stadium will be 90% red. Not to mention there's no pro sports team in Nebraska, so the football team members are like celebrities.
