Seems like they got satisfactory news from E Rob. Would make sense. He worked under Rhule at Temple. It also seems like they weren't firing their DL coach without a good idea of who the next one might be.

I’m afraid you’re right. Robinson was still “shopping around.” He knew Rhule and did not know Kiffin. But hell, if he chose Nebraska because he’s looking for a place to coast, we don’t want him anyway.

We’ll do fine on a DL hire. And no. It won’t be Orgeron.

Guessing that also confirms that Nebraska will be portal shopping or rolling with this year's backup next season. I would imagine Raiola is gone after they fired his uncle.

Would be a solid pickup for Kiffin. Not as mobile as we want but he's got a solid arm and has 2 years experience in an RPO heavy offense.

Maybe he's thinking Rhule will be fired and he'll be interim coach again .

Fans need to accept the fact the program is middle tier .

We’re always going to be proud of our history but I think most of us have come to terms quite sometime back with where our program sits.

That doesn’t mean we are just going to throw our hands up and quit trying.

If you ever quit trying, that’s when those final shovels of dirt can probably be thrown on top.

We love college football too much.

Nebraska has a great tradition, and fans. I loved those Osborne teams back in the day. Maybe its because I hated Oklahoma. Turner Gill amd Irving Fryer were one of my all time favorite players growing up. They had studs in the trenches.
