How come nobody has scooped up this dude? I like his offense...

Makes 810k right now and has slayed some big names in his career already.

He is probably holding out for a good job. Doesn't want to go to a shite situation and tarnish his glowing rep.

This year's crop of openings is pretty weak. What is/was the best job out there? Ga Tech? Colorado? UNC?

Stay in a stable situation at Troy then cash in when one of the SEC schools inevitably fire their coach in the next year or two.

Neal wants complete football autonomy. That's a lot to ask for someone whose best season was 10-3 in the Sun Belt.

What does “Complete football autonomy” mean? How many ADs who stay employed are hands on with football?

$810K a year likely puts Brown as the 2nd wealthiest person in TROY behind Wiley Sanders. Maybe his family is happy and he has no desire to leave for another school. TROY could go 9-3 or 10-2 every year with their schedule and Brown would never be on the hot seat.

Brown will eventually make a jump. None of the openings this time around were worth a crap. He’ll leave at some point and for a good opp.

Purdue would have paid him $3.5M+ if we had lost Brohm. With a fat assistants pool, upgraded facilities and a roster to build on he’d have had every chance to be successful. Why not wait for something like that...or better?
