NC State Head Football Coach Tom O'Brien Deservedly Fired

Don't get run out of your own stadium by Virginia. None of your players respect you. All they do is smoke weed all day. I would know as I live next to one where they all hang out. Have some discipline so that it doesn't get to the point where you are kicking players off the team.
Enough talent to upset a top 10 team two years in a row. Enough lack of coaching to lose to UVA this year and BC and Wake last year...
eta: Oh should this be coaching changes board? Whatever.

If it wasn't for Tom, your sig would never have happened.

Should've been fired after losing to UT.

Maybe BC will take him back. Actually, it's not a bad idea.

As an opponent of TOB teams, you knew you were always going to be in for a good game.
He came in and cleaned up the program that needed it.
He graduates his players, he focuses on all aspects of college, gave a lot back to the military community, etc...
But, he did not take NCSU to where they think they belong, so a time for a change
I wish him the best in whatever happens next...always been a fan.
And always loved this jab at UNC
We do go to class here at NC. We have syllabuses and instructors that show up, so [the players] better be there.

Too angry to post in one of the already existing threads on this subject?

Maybe the talent isn't all that great which leads to the losses you mention, and the coaching pulls off the upsets?
I've always though he was solid, not great. What are NC State's expectations as a program? Where do they think they should be?
