Figures he would want to be back home. Haven't kept up with VA Tech. So they're in a position to hire a new HC?

Fuente came out of the blocks well and was saving his job, then it's been going downhill since

I don't understand why a guy like Napier would pass on Auburn but go to TCU. The Big12 will fold in coming year, so there is tons of uncertainty with those remaining schools.

This keeps getting parroted, and the more it does, the less I believe it went down as these boards say. As was already stated, Auburn fans claim he was never offered the job.

They already have 4 solid new members joining the league. They aren't folding.

Whats the old saying "you dont replace the legend, you replace the guy that replaced the legend". I think TCU is going to have a tough time filling that position.

Hope Napier is at LSU. Starting to think there is no way that will happen. Mistake by LSU.

He turned down USCe, Moo State, and Auburn but TCU would be the one to pull him? No chance.

You overestimate USCe and MSU. Auburn is a bigger job than TCU.

No, they won't.

That "old saying" implies that the legend went out on top.

They will offer Dykes. And if he turns them down, they will have plenty of other prospects to choose from.

He’s holding out for a big SEC or Clemson job. Perfectly content at ULL in the meantime

Why would he choose TCU over LSU?

TCU would be the perfect landing spot for Napier.

Because LSU will never hire Napier.

If Napier goes to TCU for a day then LSU hires. I would like that cause LSU isn't hiring the ULL coach.

I think it's a great fit for him. P5 program in a fertile recruiting area.

If he's as good as his advocates think he is, he'll crush it at that job and LSU would have no choice but to give him a blank check in a few years.

It would be good for him to take the next step up the ladder to see what kind of coach he can be .
