He’s not a good fit at Florida and it’ll kill his career. Expectations are to compete with Kirby year 1 and he won’t do that. I wish him success but another P5 program would’ve been better before jumping to the SEC where you’re going to be judged immediately whether you can beat Kirby or not.

Agree or disagree?

Strongly disagree. Who would’ve he gone to next year that was a better deal?

Disagree. He is young so as long as he doesn't pull his dick out at a press conference his long term career will be fine either way.

In terms of managed expectations.

At some point, you can’t keep waiting when you’re being offered $40-50-60mm to coach football, especially at a top20 program.

Thinking the ULoL coach is gonna be a bust is not a big reach. The guys who have made successful jumps from the Sun Belt to P5 are few and far between.

Agree welcome to big boy football. I just don’t see him doing anything at UF. They won’t put up with losing very long. Plus Mullen really left the talent level low.

You guys are losing all sense of reality. The man just Quadruple$ his salary and was named HC of an SEC team. What the hell are you overthinking armchair nerds smoking?

Yep Gator scum will kill him slowly. I really think he’ll be in over his head.

If he can’t turn the entire program around, recruit better, start winning, AND beat Georgia he’ll be gone in 4 years. Mullen had SEC experience and still couldn’t do it.

I don’t think so. I think he got a very good job. Better job than heuple and harsin. Two big name g5 coaches a year ago. I think he made a solid choice.

Ok cool. Money is great. You don’t start winning 9-10 games a year, lockdown recruiting in Florida, and start beating Georgia then you’ll be fired in 4 years.

Kirby is not some guru coach. He is in fertile recruiting grounds. If Napier has it, it should show right away....

UF is a great job, but also realize they’ve had four coaches over eight seasons.

Waited for what? He’s following a buffoon at a top 10 job. He made the right choice.

disagree, he has to think he will be the next Saban and you dont do that by turning down a top 10 college job in the SEC to run off to the Pac 12 or some mid major.
