What does this mean ?
It means what it says. Example: BK clearly didn't put enough effort into physicality and toughness. Mike Elko does.
Is that a Tommy Moffitt thing? Maybe. But, Elko brought Moffitt in while BK kicked him out.

How is this a 5?

At LSU you have a Georgia grad being the potential big benefactor.

He's been an OC for 4 years and has fielded a top 25 offense each of those years. Has fielded the #1 and #2 offense this year and last year. And he's done this at two different schools with completely different rosters.
I consider that consistent success.

I think you vastly underestimated Brohm. I’d personally rank him above everyone but Kiffin. I’d also prefer him over Kiffin. Also think you overestimate Freeman.

But you gave Kiffin a 4....your metric cannot be right. If he hasn't proven to be a successful head coach how can he have a higher success then any other candidate on this list? You can see where that makes zero sense right?

I am apprehensive about MS as a HC due to inexperience but I am all over him as OC candidate. He would need a lot of help in HC jump as in mentors.

No. I am rating each of them relative to their own position. Why? Because it's perfectly reasonable to hire a coordinator that doesn't have HC experience. Most on my list happen to be head coaches, Shanahan is not. If "head coach experience" was one of my criteria, he would have a 0 and Kiffin would have a 5, but I don't care about head coach experience.
I think Shanahan has been more consistently successful at his position than Kiffin has been at Kiffin's position over the last 4 years. Does this not make sense to you?

The problem here is you didn’t provide a detailed description of your 5 metrics in a rubric that can be followed or calibrated. What you may see a a 5 for consistency I may see as a 3. Recruiting, vice versa. Your defense of your ratings is very subjective “I gave him a 5 here” why? By what measure, what stat line or outcome, what data are used to provide the levels within each 1 - category?

Jeff Brohm would be so legit. He's not even on the current odds boards unfortunately....

They are subjective ratings. I didn't claim these numbers were objective. In fact, I implied that my numbers may be off, because I don't have ALL the info.

The logic is flawed. The responsibility of an OC is significantly less than that of a Head Coach. Kiffin also has a much longer track record of fielding good offenses and developing QBs.
