3 conference titles in 3 seasons at NC A&T

Took a brand new FBS program Kennesaw State and immediately turned them around, winning 10 games and a CUSA title. Coming off a 2-10 season

45 years old. Could want to use Tulane as a springboard to get a P4 job.

Coach O would be “fun” and get clicks but he fubar’d LSU after the GOAT season. Left them in shambles

Every hire comes with risk but this would be one I’m willing to take

I do think Tulane should stick with the “up and comer” model that’s worked well.

Not a retread like Orgeron. He’s just looking for a paycheck.

Coach O is a piece of shite and an idiot who knows nothing about being a consistently successful head coach. Unless you’re planning on recruiting Burrow, hiring Aranda and Brady, and recruiting 3 future 1st round WR’s, a 1st round RB, and a stacked defense, maybe stay away from the guy who never did anything without them.

I think Jerry Mack would be a really strong hire for y’all, your entire admin needs to be fired for even interviewing someone like Ed Orgeron

So because O only recruited all those players and never won a championship without them he sucks? Are there coaches that win Nattys in any sport without great players?

It would fit with their recent coaching hire blueprint: head coach with success at lower level conferences/schools

The job he did this year was amazing. He's going to kill it somewhere big eventually

Tulane should hire the next up and comer and accept they are a stepping stone until somebody decides to stay.

Tulane really struck out during the first phase of the search.

I was impressed by their first group of candidates. Being unable to land any of them is a bad sign for maintaining the level of program they have.

Tyson Helton at Western Kentucky

Casey Woods, OC at SMU

Jonathan Smith, recently fired at Michigan State. He was not given nearly enough time, he took over a quagmire, and he's a damn good coach.
