Aranda is filling out his staff quite nicely.

Sounds like he wasn't offered our passing coordinator job

Don’t like this...need to bring in someone besides Curtis Johnson to help E with the offense. Been too quiet out of BR, time to make some moves.

It's not that difficult: Munoz was passed over and left. If he was wanted, he would have stayed.

We all liked him as fans, but Orgeron obviously believes he's not the right person for the job or he's not yet ready.

Best of luck to Munoz.

I’m not gonna melt or anything after the season we just had, but I’m not crazy about it if we passed him over for Curtis Johnson. From an X’s and O’s Standpoint

I agree it’s ridiculous but even more evidence that they will hire a true OC.

Munoz leaving is likely a money thing.

I just don’t want to get stuck back in the cycle of “recruiting over everything” mentality where the on field coaching/game planning takes a back seat to just trying to get big recruiters on staff.

As we’ve learned the hard way, all the 5 stars in the world don’t make a difference if you don’t have a good on field staff to put them in positions to develop and succeed

I agree. Justin Jefferson is a great example.

yeah i'd only take Cj as a WR coach ONLY. watched him enough with saints and tulane.

my question is are we gonna have a PGC to help E? will we get another analyst to help the PGC now munoz is gone? or just 1 of the above?

I’m not sure we have enough positions to grab CJ and another PGC, and I’m not sure CJ would leave the Saints for a lateral move.

We will definitely grab more analysts

E wants to retire. Must find a guy to fill in this year and take over 21. They thought Brady was going too

From an offensive skills position standpoint (ex. QB), there probably hasn't been a program that recruits itself more than LSU over the past 20 years. Les Miles has been running the show for the majority of that time. Not trying to downplay the importance of people like Frank Wilson, but LA always has great WRs and RBs.

I don't trust E at all to just "run the playbook." Want to give O the benefit of the doubt after being proven woefully wrong about him but I hope O's/Woodward's contingency plan for Brady doesn't involve that and simply upgrading recruiting there.

I don't think CJ is happening

DC probably happens before NSD but the the shape of the offensive staff may not until after

Something only fans think. Munoz is just not as good as you think he is.
