I actually think he is the biggest risk of all the candidates. His defenses were sometimes dominant but at times they were just flat out bad. Throw in the fact that he cannot recruit, and I see alot to worry about.

They aren’t ranked see CFP. It is the only thing that matters dumbass. They are probably about 40th factoring in SOS. Only people like you can’t get off this stupid shitty comparisons.
I want the coach that has that number of wins by playing someone ie with a SOS of 39 not one of 89. I want a coach who didn’t struggle against a 89 SOS by barely winning against losing teams.

for all the other players he was only a secondary recruiter. Which basically tells me he was explaining the defense To these players while les, Corey Raymond and coach O were doing all the recruiting

They are playing at minimum one less power 5 school less per year than when hudspeth was cranking out New Orleans bowl berths (which they were one year out from a bowl when Napier was hired)
A few or those 9 win hudspeth seasons become ten win seasons with another fcs win or conversely a ten win Napier season goes to 9.
Not that big of a deal because Napier is not getting anywhere near the LSU job
