I’ll give you one of a thousand reasons we didn’t.

The university gave Odom $900,000 to hire an OC. At the time of the hire, that was almost top 10 OC compensation.

With that money, Odom hired Derek Dooley.

I’m not triggered. I’m trying to help the Mizzou fans figure out what is happening. There is no other reason than Odom getting the job I the first place was to keep the players from leaving and no one else wanted within 100 miles of CoMo. CoMo is only a few years removed from Chernobyl. I hate to break it to you but that is the reason you can’t find a coach. Good luck. I hope it works out for you.

I thought Blake would be a good fit. He is a good guy and a good coach. He has had a rough year, so a legit question would be where his head is at. Sometimes people need a change of scenery though.

Really thought Mizzou had a good hire about to happen.

He has actually been on my list for most of the year. Arkansas would never make that hire just because of in state optics. I like Blake a lot. He will be good at Mizzou.

Only a few people know who that guy is.

Since the media doesn’t know, they’re making stuff up. They did the same thing with our last basketball hire. What none of them got right was who it would be. Or who said no. They’re repeating the process again and our Stockholm syndrome fans are lapping up their pablum like it’s Robitussin in the middle of cold season.
