Mizzou coaching search has turned into a shitstorm of social media kerfuffle

Our BOC has met with the AD to approve a candidate but didn’t like him. They haven’t met with the AD or been presented with any names at all. Insiders say an agreement was reached before BO was ever fired. Others say Sterk is in scramble mode and way down his list already.

Even though I'm not a Mizzou fan, I still follow some of their beat writers on Twitter, as well as other STL based media. It's been a shitstorm.

Basically what Gabe has reported is:
Sterk and Odom had a falling out, Sterk fired Odom
Sterk brought 3 candidates to a couple members of the BOC, Monken, Holtz, and Anderson. They told him straight up you can't fire Barry Odom to hire one of these clowns.
Now we're back to square one and Sterk is talking to other candidates.

and Sundvold has also refuted it and of course the idea that we already have a coach hired which a few insider types have been saying.
From what I’m gathering, Sterk is a fricking numbnuts who fired his coach without any plan for what would happen after and is now in full on scramble mode

Mizzou should hire Fritz, who knows the territory, won wherever he's been and has done the best you can do at Tulane in the AAC with the school's self-imposed limitations.

frick Fritz. What we should do is fire Sterk and put King Sundvold in the position he should be in and completely start over.
