He'd get them at or near the top of that weak division right away, and Nebraska would be physical again like they should be.

Not a chance. He won’t have the recruiting base and blue chip prospects within miles and he will never change his offensive ways. He will go head-to-head with Urban, Franklin, etc. for those within distance and he will lose every single time because it’s Nebraska.

Nebraska is full of those corn-fed road graders that can lift an F-150. One thing Les understands is that the game is won in the trenches.

Tom Osborne never had a secret playbook. He had 15 linemen that could start anywhere else and would wear you down.

Recall it all too well the times we played them and him. Osborn made no secret that his approach was to wear on the other team and be the stronger team in the fourth quarter. He did it well.
