look im defiantly not a LM supporter but this would be an unimaginably bad time for us to lose our coach.
does the thought excite me? yes but the thought of a new OC with les at the helm excites me even more.

no care for this year's recruiting class.
sure seems that way.
these people are TRAITORS!! I'd put them on par with fat kids from Georgia who root for England against the USA in the world cup because their parents vacayed their one month.

So we should never lose Les because a recruiting class will be lost?
If we keep Frank Wilson, we keep the majority of this class. PERIOD. Most of the kids from Louisiana dreamed of playing at LSU too, so it's not like they'll just bounce.
Furthermore, when a coach leaves you will almost assuredly lose some commits, but this class isn't going to define LSU's next 4-5 years on it's own.
Unlike 2005, we aren't stuck to 13 scholarships. We may have limits, but not as bad as that year.
Les leaving will affect this class, but not kill it like some of you portray.

Who knows who we lose.. I doubt we lose anyone in 'the fam' and hopefully they can keep it in tact. Wonder if Mett would bail out for Arky.
I'd be bummed if we lost Collins, Landry, etc.

so I suppose if one of our assclowns like Chicken, Byte Me or Rummel posted speculative info, it's all of a sudden legit?

Mett already signed

why would he bail for arky and sit behind wilson? makes zero sense.
and I agree Mafia. If you make the right hire quickly then you are gonna be fine with this class, especially with the instate recruits. frank wilson would almost be assured a spot on the next staff if he wanted it, and in the mean time would prolly be named interm HC.

He can be released from his LOI. Not saying he would, but he could.

he would compete with Wilson. Don't forget he signed with UGA when we already had Murray. He isn't afraid to compete.

One would hope.. but who do we hire if Miles is out? It's shitty timing.

i say keep it on the down low, we don't want the team to be distracted and we don't want 2007 all over again either.

I thought Memphis said that Miles already contacted Michigan and told them he would not be interested if he was considered for the job?

I'm not the biggest Les Miles fan, but the players seem to love him and a lot come to LSU just to play for him. I don't want to see him go, especially with the recruiting class we've got coming in. Not to mention it'd be a huge distraction.

I think RR is being brought back with a new Defensive staff...because UM struck out with option 1 and 2
