if miles were to leave, why would he not try to take the best assistants/recruiters with him? why is it assumed he will leave anyone but crowton behind?

les figures he can be his ace recruiter for that area. why would he leave him behind? if he can recruit, he can build more relationships there or elsewhere, but for michigan? i dont see why he wouldnt at least try to take him with

he will try to take cooper, cheif and prolly halley. wilson does no good their and Im not sure he would want to bring the rest of the offense guys. Sp. teams coach is an alumni here so doubt he goes. he might try to bring BG because of his spread knowledge.

I think this is one of the biggest problems for Michigan and Miles. I'd like to see the budget for assistants at LSU as compared to Michigan. I bet it's night and day.

to me, if you are miles, and you need 2 top shelf coordinators, you have no business seeking $4M/yr and then needing $500K+ per coordinator.

The only two I really want to keep are Wilson and Cooper.

I don't think asst coaches are under contract with Les Miles. They actually work for LSU. He can offer a job, the coach could then resign and take a job at Mich. It remains to be seen wnat kinda money they are willing to offer for both head and asst coaches
