"I certainly love Michigan," Miles said. "I will always be a Michigan man. "

I'm sure Urban Meyer will always love Notre Dame. Does not help ND now.
Michigan better get over their past or they could follow the golden domers. Please tell your AD thanks, and have a GREAT day.

Michigan and their a.d. both thought the job would recruit itself. miles would happily come to ann-arbor, and all would be well. problem is, they let lsu offer a contract les couldn't refuse.

oops, the ship has sailed martin.

You're not paying attention very well. The idiot MI A.D. didn't want Miles.

Mich should wind up ok, but I'd be worried if the AD says money is no object and then caps it at 3mil (could go as high as twice Carr's 1.5mil)- kind of sends the wrong message, since there are already coaches making more than that now.
Also, please explain the Bo Schemblecher reverence there. No offense, but he sounds a little like our Charlie Mac. (lots of wins, no national titles) And while we love Mac, we dont need a "Mac Man" for a coach. The only other school who has to have coach be a student of a former coach, that I'm aware of, is Alabama- until Nick Cebon.

Its not saving face at all. If the MI AD didn't want Miles he should have just said so. If he wanted Miles he should have just said so. His non action and passivity were cowardly.

Where does one go sailing in December in Michigan? Isn't it snowing there?

If the AD was away, why was he NOT at Michigan when y'all are with out a football coach?

Fire the f'ing AD as well as Carr. I'm done with it.

No, that's your spin on it as you came here today to flame our board with your first and only post and follow it up with 9 more posts about this same nonsense.

Face it loser, you aren't getting our coach. And if your AD would not return Miles' calls then he is a complete dumbass, and you need a new AD as well as a new coach.

He was in the Florida Keys. He felt it would be 'improper' to return Miles agents calls before the game on Sat. So he has his 'principles' and LSU has Miles. People are indeed calling for his head.

I think they were saving face. They just ignored him so they wouldn't have to turn them down. Girls do it to me all the time.

Coach Miles will always have a a place in his heart for Michigan. But when you get screwed over my that school then you will never coach for that school. I think that is where Coach Miles is now. He is coaching a school that wants him. He don't want to coach at a school that screw's him over.

Unless he was there with Jimmy Johnson or Herban Meyer, it's unacceptable.

shite, I wish I could go sailing in the florida keys when I am in the midst of a critical project at work. Can you send me the monster.com posting for the michigan AD job?

Do you even read the dates on the articles? Do you not think all of this was talked about YESTERDAY when the article came out. Do you think we are behind that much?

You are absolutely right. We don't get it up here either. This AD is just starting a 'process' now.

Martin has a boat in Florida. It appears he would rather play in the warm climes than work in the cold in Michigan.

I'll be happy when I have Martin's head on a pike. It's been weeks and we've only interviewed two coaches, both from in house, and he's out boating in Florida and blowing off calls?!?! Do your damn job, which just so happens to include contacting and interviewing coaches/agents, not boating! There are not enough emoticons to express the ire I am feeling at this moment.
